8 Summer Fashion Trends for 2020

Stay at home & quarantine orders might have a girl a little nervous pulling out her summer wares to see how it’s all fitting these days. Hopefully, all is right with the world and no blips on the screen fitting in to your summer finest. To keep things fresh you always want to know what the latest trends are that are happening season to season. Right? Of course you do which is why you have stopped by and I thank you for that :)

Here are a few summer trends you may be seeing on your favorite go to fashion sites or popping up on your favorite social media platforms



1- Beaded Jewelry

Its everywhere. From necklaces to bracelets and earrings. Shells and Beaded combo necklaces are also a “thing”. Think Chunky


2- Summer Boots- Combat, Ankle anything goes pairing them with shorts, skirts or a summer jumpsuit


3- Denim Jackets- This has always been a staple for me in the summer especially with summer nights up north. I gravitate towards a faded blue denim look and looks like I won’t need to buy one this season as I have one that is timeless. Thanks #JCrew


4-Crocheted & Versatile Beach Bags- All sorts are happening. From LL Bean boat totes with camo handles to fancier $4oo+ styles. It is the “it” style bag for this summer.


5-Jumpsuits- These were big last year just hitting their stride but have now blossomed to “must haves“ for the season. Solids, stripes, big prints..Take your pick


6- Crochet Dresses- Nothing says cool summer day or evening like a crochet dress in neutrals and pastel colors


7- Hot Pants- Yes these are back. Pair one of the season’s chunky boots with a pair of hot pants & crisp white shirt and you are ready for a day out shopping or girls night out with your tribe..


8- Puffy Sleeves- Dresses & Blouses. This reminds me a little bit of yesteryear with prairie dresses but leave it to designers like #ToryBurch to put a fresh spin on them



Loving the idea of a few of these fresh additions to my summer wardrobe. Will be scouring my favorite brands (see my list under “Spotlight” on my main website menu) for a crochet bag/tote for the beach or shopping excursion and looking forward to finding the perfect chunky boot for a weekend date night paired with a jumpsuit and denim jacket.
